Privacy, and what HIPAA covers.

What this website collects, what it deliberately does not, and where clinical information actually lives.

What this site collects

This website collects as little as it can. Browsing it does not create a clinical record.

Your cart is stored on our server against a random identifier held in a cookie. The cookie contains no information about you and cannot be read by scripts in your browser. We do this because a cart listing 'QEEG brain mapping' is a statement about your health, and it should not sit in your browser's storage where any script, or anyone who picks up your laptop, can read it.

Nothing clinical ever appears in a web address. If you can see it in the address bar, it is not health information.

What analytics see

Aggregate page counts only. No protected health information is sent to any analytics service, ever. Which condition page you read is not attached to you.

Where clinical information actually lives

Intake responses, clinical notes, and messages with your clinician live in the secure patient portal under a Business Associate Agreement, not on this website.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your record, ask for corrections, ask who it has been disclosed to, and ask for restrictions on how it is used. Write to us from your account.

You can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights without any effect on your care.

The other document is worth reading too. They are short on purpose.
